In brief: I'm Kiran (she/they), future Starfleet captain, minor character enthusiast, and found-family shipper. I'm also very much a fan-type hobbiest (hobby-ist?) and like to write, draw, knit, cook, and embroider, and almost all my projects are inspired by some fandom or another.

About Me: I'm 28 and queer. More specifically, I'm bisexual and on the femme-ish side of the gender question mark. I'm a health equity researcher by trade, and I live with my two amazing cats and fiancée in Charlotte, North Carolina (see below for cat tax). I'm originally from New England and Montréal and desperately miss snow!
About My Fandoms: My main fandoms these days are videogames like Dragon Age, Mass Effect, Undertale, and Life is Strange. I've also been heavily invested in shows like Star Trek, Steven Universe, and Buffy the Vampire Slayer. My strongest fandom legacy is probably my obsessive, all-encompassing love for Andrew Wells from Buffy.
Other favorite characters include (in no particular order): Varric Tethras (Dragon Age), Cole (Dragon Age), Vetra Nyx (Mass Effect), Jonathan Levinson (BtVS), Phantom Dennis (BtVS), Sans (Undertale), Pearl (Steven Universe), Data (Star Trek), Tasha Yar (Star Trek), and Ezri Dax (Star Trek).
A lot of my favorite "ships" are found family ships, such as Varric & Cole, Pearl & Steven, and Data & Picard, but I do on occasion invest myself a romantic ship (e.g. Sans x Toriel).
Other Assorted Facts:
- I met my fiancée through fanfiction, specifically through my insane amount of Andrew Wells fanfiction.
- I have two published academic articles about Star Trek.
- My cats' names are Sazed and Inigo. As promised, here is the cat tax:
